Podiatrists are recognised for their expertise in the provision of CUSTOM MADE orthoses and their treatment of functional problems of the FOOT and LEG.

At Suzanne Paterson Podiatry we prescribe CUSTOM MADE orthoses.  Following a thorough biomechanical assessment, negative impression casts are taken by the Podiatrist which are then sent to the laboratory for the prescription orthoses to be made.  The orthoses form part of our patient’s treatment plan and can be fabricated for patients of all ages and activity levels.

Initial Appointment Checklist for Biomechanical Assessment:

1. Your referral (if you have one),

2. Any X-rays or scans,

3. 2-3 pairs of shoes you spend most of your time in,

4. A pair of shorts or a pair of comfortable pants that you can roll up to your knee.
